280g Cap Kompang
½ tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
180g castor sugar
175g butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
25g cocoa powder
1 packet semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecan nuts, coarsely chopped |
- Lightly grease baking trays.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Mix sifted flour, baking powder and salt together.
- Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla essence until light and creamy. Beat in eggs gradually.
- Add in flour mixture, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and pecan nuts into butter mixture and mix well.
- Roll out dough to 4mm thickness and cut with a floured fluted cutter. Place cut out dough onto greased trays.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes before placing the cookies onto a wire rack to cool completely.
